Laps of Love (formerly known as the Run/Walk/Roll in Lauren’s Shoes) is back for a one-day live event in Buffalo, NY, and virtually from anywhere. Registration is now open!
Join us on June 12, 2022 for a family-friendly and accessible event that promotes exercise, kindness, and inclusion. You can choose to run, walk, or roll to support the Make LemonAide Foundation for Cerebral Palsy. Our goal is to raise $30,000 to support our physical therapy grant program that expands access to the First Step Recovery Model.
Online registration is now closed but you can still sign up on the morning of the race starting at 8:30 a.m.
How it works
Pre-registration is now closed – but you can sign up the morning of the race starting at 8:30 a.m.
Create a fundraiser page, set your fundraising goal, and share your story about why you are raising money for individuals with cerebral palsy.
If participating in the live event, join us at Wilkeson Pointe for a fun-filled day. Stay tuned for more details.
If participating virtually, get out there and walk/run/roll with your family, furry friends, and anyone you feel safe around. We encourage you to post photos with the hashtag #LapsOfLove2022 for both the 1-mile and 5k.

About cerebral palsy
Cerebral palsy (CP) is the most common motor disability for children – one that can make talking, walking, and other everyday tasks a monumental challenge. Yet there is no federal funding for CP research. But with your help, we can give hope to those affected by this forgotten disability.
Proceeds from the Laps of Love and fundraising are used to bring a cutting-edge physical therapy approach – the First Step Recovery Model – to Western New York. We do this by awarding grants for individuals to receive therapy. In just a short period of time, local families are already seeing life-changing results from this PT model.
In 2021, Laps of Love raised $25,000!
