Be a part of this amazing penpal project. Brad Grugel’s 6-8th grade class in MN is reading the novel “Out of My Mind” by Sharon Draper, then the students are writing to a penpal who is affected by CP. We still have openings! Today, Brad shared his students started reading the book this week and loving it so far. He loves how the book brings out some deep and powerful discussion about how to treat those with disabilities with love, care, and respect. His students are excited to write to their penpals.
